Overview:
This position is to define the role of ME work for new production development. It requires detailed engineering and project management knowledge, such as Mechnical design, plating, stamping, die casting, assembly and project management skills. need capability of communication and problem solving etc to develop new products with good quality, economic cost, short lead time etc to satisfy customer and get facility business increasing.
Responsibilities:
1.Take ownership for assigned new projects to meet the NPD scorecard, such as handle cost estimate, sample making , project review , business system setup form, prepare for development documentation such as DFA, PFMEA, ect based on project progress and Pro-04 procedure, Project management for simple modification projects.
2.Coordinate and communicate with designer tolerance issue feasibility study, project progress etc.
3.Initial production delivery follow up, make sure tooling, equipment, fixtures, process documents WI /CP to be ready before production.
4.Train operators on the product assembly and make sure the quality and safety is to be controlled.
5.Once project will be closure, transfer new project to mass production after IP order shipping 4 months.
6.Any other reasonable duties required by supervision.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree on mechanical engineering. With around 5 years’ working experience
2. With experience on metal product assembly /fixture development, have the experience of cold forming/turning/ejection molding etc will be preferred
3. With experience on PFMEA, SOE(WI), tolerance analysis, DOE etc
4. With these experiences or knowledge will be preferred: product cost estimate, Metal material (Steel, Aluminum, plastic), surface finish (zinc, nickel plating, powder coating), Heat treatment etc
5. With experience on project management. Good communication skills
6. Positive working attitude, be willing to work with pressure
7. Good English command for writing, have fluent oral English will be preferred
8. With experience on design, NX kills will be preferred.
